Welcome to Wetheral Bowling Club

We are situated in one of the most picturesque locations in England in a small village just 6 miles from Carlisle. The green has commanding views of the Northern Pennines and the Scottish Borders.

Short Mat Bowls

 Short mat sessions are held on Tuesdays at 1.30pm, Wednesdays at 7pm and Fridays at 7pm.

New members are welcome.  Come along to one of the sessions, see if you like it and, if so, pick up an application form.

We are a popular club with more than 80 members of all ages. We have excellent facilities and a very friendly environment for our members and guests including a well stocked bar. We offer a warm welcome to clubs touring Cumbria and South of Scotland.
